• Its name means ‘lizard from Alberta. Sarcophagus is Greek for ‘flesh-eating'.
• Was the first dinosaur discovered in Alberta, Canada.
  
• Was smaller and faster than its famous cousin, the T.Rex.
• Ran at 30 km/h
• Had a length of 9 meters, similar to a London Bus.
• Was 4 meters tall, almost the size of stacking two Christmas trees.
• Hunted in packs by ambushing or chasing their prays for long runs.
• Utilized their tail to change direction under speed.
• Its teeth had a serrated edge to grip and rip the flesh of their preys.
